Final CD/DIGIPAK
This is the final digipak product , i have developed the back cover by adding our 'star' , through research we found that for a debut album it is almost vital to do so . It allows the viewers to connect with her and the rest of the album automatically gives an impression of her .

Task 3 Youtube statistics
The screen shots below show the statistics about our video , considering audience and the regions that the video has been watched . The below image shows that our video has been watched in 20+ countries , ranging from jamaica to brazil . It shows how many times the video has been watched in each country , the graph line is quite a positive one , it shows that our video is constantly being watched , where as most other videos will have a sudden rise and then a flat line .
The image below shows the range of formats that the video has been viewed on , tablets , tv's , phones and computers .
This images shows the times at which viewers stop watching the video , the average minutes watched ranges from 0:15 seconds to the full video . this chart also shows the estimated minutes watched on each day . the highest so far has been 38 minutes on the 21st of january.
This chart shows how viewers have come across the video , it shows that some have seen it through other websites than youtube which is very positive . Some have seen it through suggested videos on youtube .
Another positive aspect is that when you open the video , there are adverts for google on the screen , this means google are clearly interested by the videos response and believe it will be seen by enough people to advertise on it. Overall the statistics show that our video is liked by the audience we have targeted .
Audience feedback task 3
We have already had feedback from a small number of people that commented on our video through youtube. I have begun to put together a small and quick questionaire , suitable for our targeted and recognised audience of people ranging from the ages of 13 to mid 30's .
The questions would consider popularity , positive feedback and constructive criticism .
The questions could possibly be :
At what point does the video become disinteresting ?
What aspects of the video did you like ?
What aspects of the video did you not like?
Did you understand the themes and narrative of our video?
Did the shots match what you expected to see ?
Is this a typical video for the dub genre?
But we also want to research into our audience , and so we would ask:
Are you male or female?
What age are you?
What is your ethnic background?
Did you share this video or show others?
Would you download this song illegaly or purchase it?
Another way of us obtaining audience information is through a possible focus group or an interview with people from a range of backgrounds .

Developing the digipak
Here are two ideas for our updated didgipak , the top image is most likely going to be used as the front cover . I have chosen the top as i feel the lack of colour and its minimal design reflects our star's image of being artistic . The colours i have chosen and the decoration also links with the faded and dark atmosphere within the Big Tree video . The back cover is soon to come but will reflect similar themes .

YouTube reviews
Recently we've had a few comments under our video on YouTube , commenting on the good aspects of the video and we had some minor criticisms . We are planning to get a focus group together to discuss the video and how we could improve. We also aim to email a range of people for more comments .
To the comments that suggested that the narrative was unclear , there was no real narrative or story , the video was a minor representation of a youth culture .

In what ways do your media products use , develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products ? part1
For this evaluation task I am going to discuss the conventions used in our media product , whether they challenge or follow the usual and expected conventions of a dub campaign.
These two images I have chosen as they show the artistic camera work we used in our video , inspired by Travi$ scotts video 'upper echelon' we wanted the video to involve a lot of smoke and dim lighting . For the beginning of the video we used a gopro attached to a drone , which we held manually and followed our two actors, this was a very experimental and new technique we attempted for an artistic shot . Already we have broken the usual conventions of a dub video , you tend not to see this type of camera work in a reggae or dub video as they are more concentrated on the music .
We mixed up our shots and incorporated a lot of close ups and extreme close ups . This is commonly used in a pop video to establish the 'star'. In our case the girl was our star and so we concentrated on her, we also practiced with her lip sync which synced perfectly with the songs lyrics , this is also a common convention to build upon the stars image.
Here we used a 35mm lens to get the clearest image , the lens created a very different shot to the go pro . We used a lot of slow motion which worked well with this type of lens , as it is very high quality . This is quite a common feature in pop videos. We changed the lens to a 50mm for the extreme close -ups of the boxers hands , the 55 is meant for close ups and so gave us a very clear and artistic image .
We used a wide range of camera lenses and camera , including a flying drone for ariel shots and a 55mm lens for extreme close up and slow motion. This is a challenge to the usual conventions of a dub video . I struggled to find a comparison video but here is Stand High Patrol's new video. As we can see it is very basic , they have used a cartoon sketch instead of a choreographed video.
